How we do it

The forum brings together a generation of young thinkers and decision-makers to share ideas and deliberate on matters relating to international cooperation and diplomacy in the bid to build a prosperous, secure and sustainable continent.  We achieve this through training and coaching, research projects, advocacy initiatives,  and international conferences.

Training and Coaching
A key aspect of our mandate is the training and development of the next generation of African leaders and policy influencers through hands-on training programs and access to high-level platforms. We aim to resource future African leaders with knowledge and expertise in the field of diplomacy focusing on conflict resolution, trade, culture, education, environment and youth.  Members also build their skills through institutional visits.

Research
The forum researches and publishes articles and position papers relating to global and African international affairs and diplomacy in our quarterly publications
International Conferences

Advocacy
Through our special interest subgroups, the forum advocates policies from the youth perspective through engagement with relevant institutions, governments and international governmental organisations.

International Conferences
The forum provides opportunities for its members to participate in its annual international conferences as well as other global conferences, forums and meetings by institutions such as African Union, World Bank, World Trade Organisation, UN, among others.
